Rhonda brings decades of experience to A Perfect Smile, working both as a dental hygienist and new patient coordinator. She started in dentistry more than 30 years ago and joined A Perfect Smile in 2016. Much of Rhonda’s expertise comes from her experience on the job, and she also has completed an in-depth Tony Robbins management course. Rhonda takes pride in providing assistance to her patients and fellow hygienists. She is a mother of two and is passionate about nature, photography, gardening, and painting.
The path to great teeth begins by visiting Lyndsay at A Perfect Smile. Having been a dental hygienist since 2001, Lyndsay is here to teach patients about great at-home care and help prevent dental problems. She began working at A Perfect Smile in 2016 as a dental hygienist and is also CPR certified. Patients trust her experience and gentle hand. Lyndsay stays extremely active outside of the office with a full house of two young boys, a husband, and a dog, Theodore. You’ll often find her running, doing yoga, hiking, skiing, or biking. She is also an avid traveler.
Lindsi has a knack for making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She works closely with Dr. Nelson to restore patients’ smiles and fight off harmful dental problems. Lindsi joined the team at A Perfect Smile in 2015 and is certified in radiology. She is happy to be part of such an amazing team and enjoys learning new skills in continuing education courses. When away from work, Lindsi is often spending time with family and friends, her Boston terrier, Emma, or renovating her new home. She also enjoys extreme sports like skydiving and ziplining.

Kristy began as the patient coordinator at A Perfect Smile in October 2016 — her first job in dentistry — and has a passion for helping patients discover their path to a better smile. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Southern Maine and enjoys reading, listening to music, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Kathy is a long-time dental hygienist who joined the A Perfect Smile in 2003. She has extensive training in treating gum disease and gum-related problems and has practiced dentistry for more than 20 years. Kathy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and certificate as a registered dental hygienist, and she is constantly refining her craft with continuing education.
Away from the office, Kathy enjoys spending time with her three children. She also enjoys spending time at church and family, going to the lake, and camp.
Julie has enjoyed a more than 20-year-long career as a dental hygienist. She joined the team at A Perfect Smile in 2016. Julie is a registered dental hygienist and has advanced training through the JP Institute. She’s passionate about finding new ways to treat and educate her patients. She always takes time to make sure patients are comfortable and stays up to date on the latest dental techniques. Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, often going to sporting events. Her family also loves visiting the beach throughout the year and walking their dogs together.
Dany joined the team in 2012. She holds a master’s degree in economics and regularly attends continuing education seminars to enhance what is already a sterling dental practice. She has trained with the JP Institute and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is always willing to learn on the job with Dr. Nelson. Dany loves helping every patient achieve their dream smile. She stays active outside of the office with her son, Marty, and his sporting events. She also enjoys running, yoga, biking, and gardening.
Chelsea has worked as a dental hygienist and dental assistant and is trained in all aspects of dental care. She joined the team at A Perfect Smile in 2014. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New England. Chelsea went on to achieve her master’s degree in dental hygiene with a focus on education from the University of Bridgeport. She is a member of the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society and is licensed to administer local anesthesia.
Chelsea has focused on periodontics and early oral cancer detection throughout her career, training at the JP Institute and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to treating patients, Chelsea serves as a clinical instructor at the University of New England.
There are many things Chelsea loves about her job, including motivating patients to improve their dental health and better manage any dental conditions. Outside of the office, Chelsea loves to enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful state of Maine. She’s extremely active in different sports leagues, loves spending time with family and friends, and enjoys trying new restaurants.
Becky has worked at A Perfect Smile since 2009. She is often the first face patients see when they enter the practice. Becky earned a degree in social work and has a passion for helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. She enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, especially watching their sports. You can often find Becky camping or working in her flower garden.
Aurelija started with the practice in 2016 and has been a dental hygienist since 2010. She focuses on continuing education every year and is certified in CPR. She regularly attends the Yankee Dental Conference, one of the country’s biggest dental training meetings, to study with some of the world’s greatest dental clinicians. She is an instructor at the University of New England.
Aurelija loves making a difference in every patient she sees and teaching those patients about the importance of great oral care and healthy living. When she’s not in the office, Aurelija is often traveling or outside enjoying Maine’s beautiful four seasons.
Patricia is a longtime dental assistant who loves working with patients of all ages. She has helped patients at A Perfect Smile since 2003 and started working in dentistry in 2000. As a certified dental assistant, Patricia handles patient radiology and assists chairside with Dr. Nelson for cosmetic and restorative procedures. She takes many hours of continuing education each year and enjoys spending time with her co-workers. Outside of the office, Patricia stays busy at her house between mowing and gardening. She also spends time with family and friends and loves a good bonfire.
Lisa has been helping patients get better smiles for more than 25 years. Since 1996, she has worked hand-in-hand with Dr. Nelson to help rebuild smiles with excellent preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental care. Lisa is no stranger to dental continuing education courses, but her favorite courses come from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. As such, one of the most fulfilling parts of her job is helping patients improve their smiles with cosmetic dentistry. When she’s not helping out at A Perfect Smile, she enjoys swimming, gardening, and watching her children thrive in school and sports.
